Product Collection consists of a PCM (Product Collection Module) and either a Gilson FC203b (smaller) or FC204 (larger) fraction collector. Together, the product collection modules allow individual reactions/samples to be automatically collected in tubes, vials etc. and unwanted solvent flow to be diverted to waste.  It is possible to choose to collect only the centre/heart of the reaction (maximum concentration/purity) or collect the diffusion/dispersion areas as well (for maximum recovery).

The Gilson FC203b or FC204 is customised to enable a back pressure reguator and selection valve to be fitted to the collection head.  This allows the system to be pressurised and therefore controlled up to the collection valve. 

PCM (Product Collection Module)	The PCM acts as the communications interface between the PC and the robot.
FC203b	The FC203b is a smaller footprint fraction collector capable of holding 80 x test tubes or 80 x 2ml HPLC vials as standard.  It is however user configurable to enable other Gilson or custom racks/vials etc. to be used.
FC204	The FC204 is a larger footprint fraction collector capable of holding 176 x 8ml vials. It is however user configurable to enable other Gilson or custom racks/vials etc. to be used. e.g. 4 microtitre plates or 432 x 4.5ml test tubes.
