Chemicals can be introduced into the reactor either dierctly from the Pumps or from the Reagents Module.  The Reagents Module consists of two chemically resistant 6 port, 2 position invection valves and 2 x 5ml sample loops mounted on a platform which locates under the hotplate.  When using the Reagents Module, the pumps can be primed with reaction solvent and reagent solutions can be loaded into the sample loops using a syringe.  This means small quantities of reagents can be used (1ml, 5ml and 10ml sample loops are available) and reagents can be rapidly changed.
