The Remote Mount allows a vessel assembly (includingJacketed Vessel, Jacketed Vessel Clamp and Oil Drain Unit) to be located away from the Base Unit (2101000).  The Remote Mount can attach to standard laboratory scaffolding and is connected to the Atlas system using an umbilical which provides communications to devices such as the Temperature Node (2101021) and the Scorpion Overhead Stirrer (2101004).

When the Jacketed Vessel Clamp is used with the Remote Mount, it is compatible with vessels of up to 5 litres.
