The Hot and Cold Plate connects to the Atlas Base via a bayonet fitting and to a circulator (see page 15). The plate temperature is monitored by an embedded RTD and controlled directly from the Atlas Base front panel to heat or cool either to a set point or a controlled profile. When using with the Vial Baths at low temperature, it is recommended to use the insulating cold covers (2200056, 2200057 and 2200058).
