The Medium Vial Bath is a safe, clean and quick way of heating or cooling up to 8 vials or reaction tubes of 20mm diameter. The Medium Vial Bath is designed to fit Wheaton "V" vials (see page 20). The Medium Vial Bath is made up of two parts (the Dry Bath Base and Medium Vial Bath Insert) which allows the insert to be changed to accept other vial sizes or round bottom flasks. The vial bath contains a thermowell to accept an RTD probe (2101593) and a has an insulated surround. Each well is numbered for easy reference and has a small through hole in the bottom to facilitate easy cleaning. When cooling reactions, use with the Medium Vial Bath Cold Cover 8 x 20mm dia (2200057).
