The Orbit 6 system is a convenient combination of parts, accessories and consumables to allow up to 6 parallel reactions to be stirred and heated/cooled under an inert atmosphere.

The Orbit 12 system is a convenient combination of parts, accessories and consumables to allow up to 12 parallel reactions to be stirred and heated/cooled under an inert atmosphere.

The Orbit 6 and Orbit 12 System combines the benefits of the Orbit 12 and Orbit 6 Systems (above) and so allows parallel reactions using 6 x 46ml tubes or 12 x 10ml tubes. The Reflux Unit can be used with both the Orbit 6 and Orbit 12.

Orbit 6 is a low cost parallel synthesis system for research and development chemistry. Reaction tubes are placed within the base unit and sealed with a cap/septum. The lid then seals around this and allows injections into the tubes under an inert atmosphere. Magnetic agitation of each tube provides good reaction mixing.

The Orbit Reflux Unit can hold either an Orbit 6 or Orbit 12 parallel reaction station. The Reflux unit provides connections to both water/coolant and inert gas which, conveniently remain in place even when the Orbit is removed.

The Julabo F200 offers an environmentally friendly way of providing cooled water for reflux systems (such as Orbit).

When the lid to the Orbit 6 or 12 is clicked into place, the Septa Openers push open the split septa in the caps of the reaction tubes. This allows the inert gas supply to flow into the reaction tube.

The Gas Septa Ring fits both the Orbit 6 (2200033) and Orbit 12 (2200032) is a replaceable seal that allows reagent addition to or sample removal from the reaction tubes via a hypodermic needle. The Gas Septa Ring can be reused and rotationally repositioned to access previously un-pierced sections.
