Atlas Modules

Atlas is a high performance, low cost, automated synthesis system, that is simple to use and quick to set up. Using a fully modular approach, the Atlas base unit can be configured into a wide range of systems.

Atlas Base Unit (2101000)

The Atlas base unit is the centre of any Atlas system. The Atlas base can be configured into a variety of different systems for different applications such as discovery or process chemistry. In every case, the hardware clicks into place in seconds without the need for tools.

Hotplate (2101001)

The hotplate for the Atlas base unit connects via a bayonet fitting and is automatically detected. Max temp 280°C.

Atlas Hot and Cold Plate (2200047)

The Atlas Hot and Cold Plate is an easy and accurate way of heating and cooling reactions in flasks and vials.

Magnetic Stirrer (2101002)

The Atlas magnetic stirrer connects directly to the Base Unit using a bayonet fitting. Maximum speed: 1200RPM.

Scorpion Overhead Stirrer (2101004)

The Scorpion Stirrer system provides auto aligning overhead stirring from 0 to 800rpm for Atlas.

Stirrer Seal and Guide (2101011)

The Stirrer Guide holds a standard 8mm PTFE stirrer shaft and gives a chemically resistant, vacuum tight seal onto a standard round bottom flask or jacketed vessel lid.

Atlas Syringe Pump (2200072)

The Atlas Syringe Pump is a versatile dosing system that consists of two syringes and can be configured into 2 refilling flows or 1 continuous flow.

Temperature Node (2101021)

The Temperature Node allows RTD Probes to connect to the Atlas Base Unit.

pH and Temperature Node (2200071)

This module consists of a pH node and a temperature node and can be used to measure either pH or temperature or both and when used together, the pH is automatically temperature compensated.

Node Extension (2101023)

The Node Extension allows nodes to be connected away from the main Atlas Base Unit.

Triple Node Socket (2101024)

The Triple Node Socket is used to connect multiple Temperature Nodes (2101021) to the base via Node Extensions (2101023).

Jacketed Vessel Clamp (2101012)

The Jacketed Vessel Clamp is a quick-release clamping mechanism for Atlas Jacketed Reactors.

Remote Mount for Jacketed Vessel Clamp (2101576)

The Remote Mount allows a vessel assembly to be located away from the Atlas Base Unit.

Clamp (2101040)

The Atlas Clamp is a quick-release clamping mechanism for reaction flasks and other devices.

Scorpion Overhead Stirrer Support (Sodium, 2101690)

When overhead stirring round bottomed flasks, this module should be used to support the Scorpion Overhead Stirrer (2101004.

Triple Clamp (2101043)

The Triple Clamp is a three position clamping mechanism designed to be used with the Triple Dry Bath (2101042) and can hold up to three flasks which can be different sizes.

Oil Drain Unit (2101013)

The Atlas Oil Drain Unit provides the ability to drain oil from a Jacketed Reactor Vessel back into a recirculator without exposure to the oil.

Orbit 6 System (2200076)

The Orbit 6 system is a convenient combination of parts, accessories and consumables to allow up to 6 parallel reactions to be stirred and heated/cooled under an inert atmosphere.

Stacking Dry Bath (2101041)

The Atlas Stacking Dry Bath is a new way of heating round bottom flasks without the issues associated with oil baths.

Triple Dry Bath (2101042)

The Triple Dry Bath is a three position version of the Stacking Dry Bath.

Orbit 6 - 24mm diameter, 46ml tubes (2200032)

Orbit 6 is a low cost parallel synthesis system for research and development chemistry. Reaction tubes are placed within the base unit and sealed with a cap/septum. The lid then seals around this and allows injections into the tubes under an inert atmosphere. Magnetic agitation of each tube provides good reaction mixing.

Orbit 12 - 13mm diameter, 10ml tubes (2200033)

Orbit 12 is a low cost parallel synthesis system for research and development chemistry. Reaction tubes are placed within the base unit and sealed with a cap/septum. The lid seals over the lid/septa and allows injections into the tubes under an inert atmosphere. Magnetic agitation of each tube provides good reaction mixing.

Orbit Reflux Unit (2200031)

The Orbit Reflux Unit can hold either an Orbit 6 or Orbit 12 parallel reaction station. The Reflux unit provides connections to both water/coolant and inert gas which, conveniently remain in place even when the Orbit is removed.

Large Vial Bath - 6 x 28mm (2200080)

Medium Vial Bath - 8 x 20mm (2200079)

The Medium Vial Bath is a safe, clean and quick way of heating or cooling up to 8 vials or reaction tubes of 20mm diameter.

Small Vial Bath - 12 x 17mm (2200078)

The Small Vial Bath is a safe, clean and quick way of heating or cooling up to 12 vials or reaction tubes of 17mm diameter.

Port (2101020)

Atlas Ports are an interface between RS232 devices and the Atlas Software (2300102).

Reflux Circulator (for Orbit, 2200059)

The Julabo F200 offers an environmentally friendly way of providing cooled water for reflux systems (such as Orbit).

Bronze Circulator (UK & EU 2200011, US 2200001)

The Julabo CF40 offers compact refigeration/heating.

Silver Circulator (UK & EU 2200012, US 2200002)

The Julabo FP50-MC gives a temperature range of -50 to 200°C and provides 2kW of heating and 900W of cooling power.

Gold Circulator (UK & EU 2200013, US 2200003)

The Julabo FP51-SL covers the same temperature range as the FP50-MC however it provides up to 3kW of heating and 2kW of cooling making it much faster to reach set-points.

Watson Marlow Peristaltic Pump 1802045

The Watson Marlow 323/DU/D Peristaltic Pump can be connected to an Atlas system to provide pumping of a wide range of liquids into any type of vessel.

Extension Head for Peristaltic Pump (1802046)

An extension pump head for the Watson Marlow 323D/Du pump (1802045).

New ERA Syringe Pump (2200044)

The New Era Syringe Pump is a single shot volumetric dosing module.

Denver Summit Balance (2200002)

The Denver Summit Balance can be connected to the PC via a Port (2101020) for control using the Atlas Software (2300102)

Denver 215 pH Meter (2200003)

The Denver 215 pH Meter has accuracy to 0.002 pH units, as well as automatic recognition of 22 different buffers.

Software (Sold with System 2300102)

Although the base unit can control reaction profile and log data, full PC software is available for advanced control and real time data analysis.
